In 2008, NBC's "Today" show and Toyota rocked together celebrating their then 13th consecutive year bringing together the biggest names in music to rock the Plaza. The "Toyota Concert Series on Today" kicked off the summer with a performance by Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys. Headliners and highlights from the concert series included Miley Cyrus, New Kids on the Block Reunion Concert, Neyo, Sheryl Crow, Natasha Bedingfield, Rascal Flatts and Coldplay.
